Our Partners

RAEI has a long relationship with Fundacion Jatun Sacha. They run a network of reserves in Ecuador, including Estacion Jatun Sacha and Reserva Lalo Loor, two sites we have worked extensively over the years.

Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation co-manages Reserva Lalo Loor, and has provided us with logistical support during our extensive work there.

Escuela Politécnica Nacional
Departmento de Herpetologia

This Quito university is our main collaborating organization in Ecuador, providing everything from permits to manuscript publication to a home for our Biological specimens.

Bosque Protector La Perla

This reserve, run by Fundacion Susan Shepard, has been one of our primary study sites since January of 2007. The reserve represents one of the last tracts of tropical humid forest in the region.

One Percent for the Planet Recipient Logo

1% for the Planet has partnered with RAEI to bring corporate sponsors. Find out how your business can help save animals and ecosystems.

Save the Frogs! is working on amphibian conservation on a number of fronts, and has partnered with us to plan outreach and other events.

We have partnered with perhaps the premier conservation organization in the world, Conservation International, to offset the carbon footprint of our work. Proceeds from our contribution go directly into reforestation of ecosystems in western Ecuador, in and around our study sites.

Lawson Hammock

Lawson Hammock has generously provided hammocks and financial support for our research expeditions. Their hammocks provide excellent protection from the elements and insects, while vitally producing a minimal ecological footprint in fragile ecosystems.

Librarius Study Center
at Jatun Sacha

We have used the Librarius Study Center as our base of operations at Jatun Sacha, our primary Amazon Site. The study center serves as a research and educational center for many organizations and classes.

Smugmug has generously provided unlimited, complimentary hosting for our photo galleries on www.BiodiversityPhotography.org..

Tasmania 40 South Magazine has generously provided advertising space. Tasmania 40°South is a magazine that celebrates all that is good about Australia’s island state.

bca

The Biocommunications Association has given support for training our Ecuadorian guides in photography.

Rite in the Rain provides us with the paper for our data sheets, which are invaluable to our work, which is often in the pouring rain.
